New Irish Library! Meet Galway Public Library (Ireland)

We are very happy to announce that we have another new library in the programme, the 2nd  Irish library to join NAPLE Sister Libraries.

Galway Public Library is one of the 29 libraries that give service to County Galway, and is one of the 3 libraries situated in this beautiful city of the Irish Western Coast.

They develop a wide range of activities directly or in cooperation with other agents like the primary and post-primary schools. A very interesting initiative in cooperation with a String Quartet has brought music into the libraries in a very successful activity.

If you want to know more about them, and what they are looking for just go to the Libraries Section and click on its name.  You’ll also find there a detailed description of their activities and the specific project they want to develop in the Sister Libraries Program.

With this new incorporation, the programme reaches:

90 European public libraries participating!

Would you like to be the Galway Public Library’s sister library? Go ahead and read the instructions in the Libraries Section!
